How it works
Every company has a widget page in the portal with the embed code ready. Choose a floating Book now button for the whole site, or a button per trip, and set the text, color and corner radius to match your pages.
Website builders have an embed or custom-code block; a hand-built site takes the snippet in the page. The widget renders inside your page and never sends the guest away to book.
They pick a trip, a date with seats still open, the number of guests and any package or add-on, answer your intake questions, apply a gift card if they have one, pay the deposit and get a confirmation.
The same booking the portal, the roster, the guide and the waiver automation all read. Nothing is re-keyed, and the guest's record is created or matched to the one you already had.
What you get
Dates show how many seats are left; sold-out dates are shown as sold out; dates you have closed never appear. Seats are held while a guest checks out so two people cannot buy the last spot.
The widget charges the deposit rule set on the trip and sends the waiver with the confirmation, so a widget booking is handled exactly like one from your Treka site.
Pricing tiers and packages, per-person or per-party pricing, and the intake questions you need before the day, such as experience, dietary needs or shoe size.
A gift card code or a friend's referral link is applied at checkout, and the booking records which one was used.
A build-a-trip request form and a send-us-a-message form embed the same way, for the guests who want a private date or have a question first.
Set the accent color from presets or your own hex, and the widget prices in your company's currency. On an outfitter's own site the widget looks like part of the site.
Plenty of guiding companies have a site a friend built, a Squarespace they are happy with, or a WordPress theme they paid for, and the only thing wrong with it is that it cannot take a booking. The widget fixes that one thing. Everything else about your site stays as it is: the pages, the photos, the domain, the search ranking you have built up.
If you would rather not maintain a website at all, Treka also hosts a booking site for you, on your own domain, with the same bookings behind it. The widget and the hosted site are two doors to the same calendar, and plenty of operators use both.
A calendar with real dates, a clear price, the deposit and the balance due date spelled out before they pay, and a confirmation that arrives with the waiver link and an add-to-calendar button. Trips with an open date range let the guest pick a start date; trips with fixed departures show only those.
