The right guide on every date, paid what you agreed, without a spreadsheet.
Assign guides to trip dates from the calendar, with their availability, qualifications and conflicts checked as you do it. Guides see their trips in their own portal, get reminders, and are paid their split per booking from the same screen you run the day on.

How it works
Each guide keeps an availability calendar and the locations they work. Shared with the company, it is the first thing the assignment flow checks, so you stop texting around to find out who is free on Saturday.
Open a trip, see every upcoming date and who is staffed on it, and assign a guide to the gap. Treka flags a guide who is unavailable, already on another trip at that time, or missing a qualification the trip requires.
The guide sees the assignment in their portal, with the roster, the meeting point and who has signed their waiver. Trip reminders go out ahead of the date so nobody discovers an assignment the night before.
Each guide has a pay rule: a percentage of the booking or a flat amount. Payouts are created per booking, released through Stripe or recorded as paid by cash or other means, with the history kept for both of you.
What you get
Every guide's availability and assignments on one calendar, by day and by week, so the gaps for the season are visible in February rather than discovered in June.
Record certifications and skills per guide, and which ones a trip needs. A swiftwater day is not staffed by someone without the ticket, because the assignment flow checks it first.
Treka looks ahead at booked dates with no guide assigned and tells you, so a trip that sold out on Tuesday has a guide by Wednesday.
Assignments can sync to a guide's own Google Calendar, so the trip shows up next to everything else in their week.
Set each guide's split as a share of the booking or a fixed amount per trip. Treka works out the payout per booking; you release it or record it as paid.
Guides can submit invoices, keep their payout details and tax information on file, and both sides can see what was paid, when, and for which trip. Export the history when your accountant asks.
In the portal
Who uses it
Availability comes in from the guides, assignments go out from the calendar, and nobody is double-booked on a Saturday in July.
Each guide's share is set once, every assignment carries the amount, and the month's invoices are a list to approve rather than a spreadsheet to build.
A coverage request goes to the guides who are free that day; the first to accept is on the manifest and the guests never know.
Most outfitters run guide scheduling in one place and guide pay in another, and reconcile them at the end of the month from memory. Treka keeps them on the same record: the assignment that put a guide on a date is the one the payout is calculated from. When a trip is cancelled or moved, the assignment and the payout move with it.
Independent guides who work for several companies keep one Treka account, one availability calendar and one payout profile, and each company sees only its own trips.
The guide portal is deliberately small: the trips they are on, the roster for each with waiver status and notes, the meeting point and time, and their payouts. A guide can confirm an assignment, flag a conflict, write a trip report after the day and see what they are owed, all from a phone.
