One counter for tickets, rentals, merch and gift cards.
Treka's point of sale runs in the browser on the phone, tablet or laptop you already have. Ring up a trip ticket, two kayaks and a T-shirt in one cart; the customer scans a QR code on your screen and pays on their own phone, or pays by card reader or cash.

How it works
Sign in to Treka on the counter's tablet, a laptop or your phone and open Point of sale. There is nothing to download.
Add a ticket for today's 2pm departure, two kayaks for the afternoon and a T-shirt. Prices, stock and seats come from the same Treka account as your website.
Show the QR code and the customer pays on their phone with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. Or tap a Stripe card reader, or record cash or a card taken another way.
The seats are booked, the rentals are ready to check out at the desk, the stock is updated and the receipt goes to the customer by email.
What you get
Tickets, rentals, merch and gift cards come from the trips, inventory and store you already run in Treka, so a seat sold at the counter is gone from the website at once.
The customer pays on their own phone by scanning a QR code on your screen, with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. Add a Stripe card reader if you want one.
A ticket, a rental and a T-shirt in one sale, one payment and one receipt, with each line landing where it belongs: the roster, the rental desk and the merch stock.
Record cash and card payments taken another way, so the day's takings in Treka match the drawer.
Void a sale made by mistake, or refund all or part of one later, with the reason recorded.
Choose who can sell, who can give refunds and who sees the day's sales, so the counter crew has what they need and nothing more.
What you can sell
Everything an outfitter sells in person, from the same catalog as your website.
Seats on a scheduled departure: the 10am boat tour, tomorrow's guided hike. Seats left update everywhere the moment the sale is made.
Kayaks, bikes, waders and skis from your Rentals inventory, by the hour or the day, with the deposit and the check-out at the rental desk.
A guest who walks in and wants to go out today: take their details, book them on the departure and they land on the roster like any other booking.
T-shirts, hats, flies and sunscreen from your merch store, with sizes and stock kept in step with the online shop.
Sell a gift card at the counter for any amount. It works on your website like any other Treka gift card.
How customers pay
Pick the way that fits the counter. Card payments go through Stripe to your account; nothing is charged until the customer pays.
Treka shows a QR code on your screen. The customer scans it with their camera and pays on their own phone with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, on a secure Stripe checkout. Your screen updates when it is paid.
Connect a Stripe card reader for customers who would rather tap or insert a card. It is optional: the QR code works without one.
Take cash, or a card on a terminal you already own, and record it in Treka so the sale, the stock and the day's report are all right.
After the sale
Every sale sends the customer a receipt listing what they bought and how they paid.
Void a mistake straight away, or refund a whole sale or a single line later. Card refunds go back to the card; cash refunds are recorded.
Start the day with a float, record cash in and out, and count the drawer at close against what Treka expects.
The day's sales by payment method and by what was sold, ready to check against the drawer and your Stripe payouts.
Decide which roles can sell, refund, void and see reports. Every sale records who made it.
The POS runs in the browser. Use the shop's tablet on the counter and your phone on the dock, signed in to the same account.
In the portal
Who uses it
Silverpine Adventures, a fictional operator, sells two-hour kayak rentals and sunset tour tickets from a tablet on the dock. Most customers scan the QR code and pay with Apple Pay.
The counter sells flies and tippet, rents waders, and books tomorrow's half-day float for the angler who just walked in, all in one cart.
Walk-up guests buy seats on the next departure while the website keeps selling the rest. At close, the daily sales report is checked against the cash drawer.
A shop POS sells things off a shelf. An outfitter's counter sells seats on a departure, time on a kayak and a hat for the sun, often to the same person in the same minute. When the counter runs on a separate system, the seat sold at the shop is still for sale on the website, the rented boat is still bookable online, and at night someone retypes the day into the booking software.
Treka's point of sale is the same account as your website and booking widget. A ticket sold at the counter takes a seat off the departure, a rental takes the unit off the shelf for its window, and a T-shirt comes off the merch stock. The day's report already knows all of it.
Most of your customers carry a phone that can pay. The QR code on your screen opens a secure Stripe checkout on their phone, where Apple Pay, Google Pay or a typed card takes a few seconds. You need no hardware and no contract, and the money goes to your Stripe account like an online booking.
If you sell enough in person to want a reader, connect a Stripe card reader and use both. Cash and cards taken on a terminal you already own are recorded, so nothing is left out of the day.
