Growth
Your guests already recommend you. Pay them for it.
Switch the programme on, set what the friend saves and what the referrer earns, and your booking site gets a refer-a-friend page. A visitor who arrives on a referral link sees the discount, keeps it through to checkout, and the booking is credited to the guest who sent them.

How it works
Choose the friend's discount as a percentage with a cap or a fixed amount, a minimum spend if you want one, and the referrer's reward as a percentage of the friend's booking or a fixed amount, paid as credit toward their next trip. Limit it to new customers or to certain trips, and set when codes and rewards expire.
Your booking site gains a refer-a-friend page with the terms and a form where anyone can ask for their own link. You can also enrol past clients automatically, and a campaign can merge each guest's personal link into the email.
A visitor who opens a referral link sees a banner with the friend's discount. The code follows them around your site for the rest of the visit, so whichever trip they choose, the discount is applied at checkout without typing anything.
When the friend's booking is paid, the conversion is recorded against the referrer's code and their reward is issued as credit they can spend with you. The referrals page shows every referrer, their visits, their bookings and what they have earned.
What you get
Percent or fixed, capped or not, minimum spend, new customers only, selected trips, expiry on codes and on rewards. The programme fits your margins rather than the other way round.
The refer-a-friend page states the offer in plain words and hands out links on request, with no account needed.
The visitor never has to remember a code. The link they arrived on is kept for the visit and applied when they pay.
A referrer's reward is credit toward their next booking with you, so the reward brings them back rather than leaving your business.
Every conversion is tied to a code and a paid booking. The dashboard shows what the programme returned against what it cost in discounts and credit.
The dashboard gives you the programme's own link for social posts and signage, alongside the personal links your guests use.

Who uses it
Silverpine Adventures, a fictional operator, offers friends 10% off up to $40 and gives the referrer $25 in credit once the friend's trip is paid. A guest's link in March brings two bookings in June; the guest spends the credit on a fall float.
A pre-season email merges each guest's personal referral link into the footer. The referrals page shows which guests' links were opened and which turned into paid bookings.
An operator with a loyal base restricts the friend discount to first-time customers and to full-day trips, so the programme grows the list instead of discounting regulars.
Most guided trips are booked because someone said go with these people. The recommendation already happens; what is missing is a reason to make it today and a way to know it happened. A referral programme supplies both: the friend has a discount that expires, and the booking carries the name of the person who caused it.
Treka keeps the mechanics out of your day. You set the terms once. Links are minted on request. Discounts apply themselves. Credit is issued when a booking is paid, and the referrals page tells you, per guest, who is sending you business.
The public form that hands out links is rate-limited and only works for companies whose programme is enabled and open to sign-up, and it never returns anything but the asker's own link. A referral code is checked against your company at checkout, so a code from one operator cannot discount another's trips. The maths that sets the discount and the reward is the same on the preview, the dashboard and the charge.
