Bookings
Rent the gear you already own, without a second system.
Treka keeps your rental inventory next to your trips. Guests rent on your own rental page, or add gear while they book a trip, and the portal tracks every item from reserved to returned.

How it works
Add each item with its category, brand, photos and description, a daily rate and an optional half-day rate, a deposit, and how many you own. Items that come in sizes get a variant per size, and items you track one by one can carry serial numbers.
Switch the rental page on and your company has a public page, in your name and accent colour, where anyone can pick dates, choose items and quantities, and pay by card. Availability is checked against what you own.
Choose which items are offered on which trips. A guest booking a half-day float can add two sets of waders in the same checkout; the rental is charged in full up front, even when the trip itself takes a deposit.
The rental orders list shows every order with its dates and status: reserved, checked out, returned, closed, or lost. Your team moves each one along on the day, and the reports show what earns.
What you get
The same item list serves the public rental page and the add-gear step inside a trip booking, so you never count the same wader twice.
A daily rate for the week-long trip and a half-day rate for the afternoon session, with the total worked out from the dates the guest picks.
Set a deposit per item. It is collected at checkout with the rental and sits against the order until the gear comes back.
Boots, wetsuits and PFDs get sizes; the expensive items you want to follow individually get serial tracking, so you know which unit went out and which came back.
Rentals carry no Treka service fee. The guest pays your price plus any deposit, and the payment goes to your Stripe account.
Team roles separate who can edit items and prices, who can hand gear out and take it back, and who sees the rental reports.
In the portal
Who uses it
Silverpine Adventures, a fictional operator, lists rods, reels and waders by size. Walk-in anglers rent from the page for a weekend; guided guests add waders during the trip booking and pay for them with the trip.
Avalanche beacons, probes and shovels are offered on every tour, tracked by serial number so each beacon is checked back in at the trailhead.
Boats carry a daily and a half-day rate and a deposit. The orders list on the dock shows what is out, what is due back, and what is reserved for tomorrow.
Most guide services already lend gear; the problem is that the lending lives in a notebook or a second app, so the trip is booked in one place and the waders are promised in another. When the guest arrives the sizes are wrong, the deposit was never taken, and the one pair of size 13 boots is already on the river with somebody else.
Putting the inventory beside the trips fixes that at the source. The guest chooses gear while they book, the order is attached to the booking, and the roster for the day shows who needs what. The rental page covers everyone else: the family who wants rods for a week at the cabin, or the group that brought their own guide.
It is a page under your name with your logo and colour, listing the items you have marked rentable with their photos, prices and sizes. The guest picks a start and end date, adds quantities, sees the rental total and the deposits as separate lines, and pays by card. They get a confirmation with the dates and what to bring back.

Permissions separate reading the inventory, editing items, setting prices, handing gear out and taking it back, changing rental settings, and seeing reports, so the shop crew can do the day's work without touching prices.
